We are building a modern, incredibly cool-looking mobile experience. What we need is a visual savantsomeone who obsesses over pixel-perfect layouts, stunning interfaces, and fluid motion that makes an app feel alive." [dane@barkie.ai](mailto:dane@barkie.ai) if you're interested ABOUT[BARKIE.AI](http://BARKIE.AI) Barkie is an AI-native golf platform changing how the game is played, tracked, and experienced. We're a Google Early Access Partner and USGA affiliate building two flagship products: ScoreShot (photo-to-scorecard digitization) and Broadie, a voice-first AI caddie with GPS, strokes gained analytics, and a real-money gambling engine. We move fast, ship real features to real users, and care deeply about the quality of what we build. THE ROLE We aren't looking for a generic wireframer. We need a visual heavy-hitter to define the aesthetic future of Barkie. You will partner closely with me (our UX designer) to take structural frameworks and user flows and turn them into visual masterpieces. You will own the look, feel, and motion of our flagship products, with a primary focus on iOS, followed by matching that premium experience on Android and bringing it seamlessly to smartwatches. Beyond crafting beautiful screens, a massive part of your role will be architecting and building a scalable design system from scratch to ensure consistency as we grow. WHAT YOU'LL DO -> Partner hand-in-hand with the UX Designer to translate wireframes, user flows, and architecture into stunning, high-fidelity interfaces. -> Build a scalable design system from the ground up in Figma, ensuring components, typography, grids, and tokens are organized for effortless engineering handoff. -> Establish a modern, premium visual direction for our mobile and wearable apps. -> Design micro-interactions and create prototypes (Figma, AI tools, or motion suites) that clearly dictate how elements move and feel. -> Translate voice-first and data-heavy features into clean, intuitive, and beautiful watch face interfaces across iOS and Android wearables. -> Collaborate with our frontend engineering team to ensure your visual vision is executed perfectly down to the pixel. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR -> Elite Visual Design Skills: A portfolio that proves you can build interfaces that look modern, sleek, and high-end. -> Design System Architecture: Experience building, maintaining, and scaling comprehensive mobile design systems. -> Prototyping Chops: Mastery of Figma (or cutting-edge AI prototyping tools). You don't just hand off static screens; your prototypes clearly demonstrate interaction, transition, and flow. -> Mobile & Wearable Native: Deep experience designing for iOS (main focus) and Android. Bonus points if you've shipped sleek, functional designs for Apple Watch or Wear OS. -> Great Collaborative Chemistry: You love bouncing ideas back and forth. You respect the structural research and user psychology of UX, and want to elevate it visually. -> Startup Speed: Comfort moving fast, iterating in ambiguity, and bringing creative ideas to the table. -> Bonus: You play golf, or at least appreciate why people are obsessed with it. WHAT WE OFFER -> Meaningful equity stake in a well-positioned, early-stage company -> Google Early Access Partner status see how your designs interact with unreleased Gemini models before anyone else -> A chance to build a visual brand that millions of golfers will look at every single weekend -> Direct founder collaboration no layers, no noise, no corporate drag -> Your name on something that matters in a sport people love If you care about craft and want to build the coolest looking app at the intersection of AI, sports, and mobilesend a DM or reach out at[hello@barkie.ai](mailto:hello@barkie.ai). Portfolio showcasing mobile UI, design system work, and interaction/prototyping isrequired
