**MeanderX (former Orbio Earth) YC S23**
**Location:** Germany, London, or Cape Town preferred
**Role:** Full-time
MeanderX is building AI-powered grid intelligence for renewable energy developers.
The bottleneck in energy is not just building new solar, wind, and storage projects. It is knowing where projects can connect quickest to the electrictiy grid, and where developers should secure land before everyone else.
We are building the intelligence layer supports energy developers to move faster, avoid bad projects, and get more clean energy onto the grid.
We're looking for a **Senior Full-Stack Engineer** who wants to own hard, messy, high-leverage systems end-to-end.
You'll work on:
* AI data analysis pipelines that extract signal from messy grid, utility, land, and regulatory data
* Scraping systems that continuously monitor hard-to-access public data sources
* LLM-powered extraction, classification, and research workflows
* Our customer-facing full-stack software platform
* Internal AI tools that make the whole company faster
* Whatever else needs to exist for us to turn fragmented energy data into a product customers love
This is not a narrow "frontend" or "backend" role. You should be excited to move across the stack, talk to users, make product decisions, ship production systems, and take ownership of ambiguous problems.
You might be a great fit if you:
* _Are_ excellent at coding and have shipped real production software
* Move fast without waiting for perfect specs
* Are self-directed and comfortable owning projects in a silo
* Use modern AI coding/research tools aggressively to increase your output
* Like building systems that combine product, data, infrastructure, and automation
* Care about renewable energy, climate infrastructure, and fixing the grid bottleneck
* Want to join a small YC-backed team where your work will directly shape the company
Bonus points if you have experience with:
* Power engineering, electrical engineering, or grid infrastructure
* Renewables, solar, storage, utilities, interconnection, or energy markets
* Geospatial data, mapping, PDFs, document AI, scraping, or large-scale data pipelines
* Building internal AI agents or automation systems
You'll get a lot of ownership, very little bureaucracy, and the chance to build software that helps real renewable energy projects get built.
If you're excited by AI, messy real-world data, and accelerating the energy transition, we'd love to talk.
