This is a chance to help build the future of photography in the age of AI. **About The Project: Character Transfer** Unlike traditional face-swap technology, we're not just replacing one face with another. We're building a system that understands the complete visual story of an image why a moment feels special, what emotion it communicates, what makes the composition powerful, and what must stay unchanged for the image to keep its meaning. **The goal:** when a new person enters an existing scene, it should feel as if they were truly there when the photograph was taken. **Not inserted. Not copied. Belonging.** **Who We're Looking For** We need a rare combination of creative intelligence and technical curiosity someone who sees beyond pixels and can read the emotional core, hidden story, and creative intention behind a photograph. You may come from photography, filmmaking, advertising, fashion, VFX, digital production, or creative technology. Your background matters less than your ability to understand visual language. **Your Mission** You'll help build the intelligence behind our Character Transfer Engine, focused on three areas. **1\. Teaching AI to Understand Visual Stories** Every photograph has creative DNA. For each template, you'll define: * the story being told * its emotional purpose * the relationship between people and environment * visual hierarchy * what must be preserved * what can adapt **Example** A romantic image isn't just "two people looking at each other" its true value is connection, anticipation, vulnerability, intimacy, trust. A travel image isn't just "someone near a landmark" it's discovery, freedom, adventure, achievement, memory. AI has to understand that difference. **2\. Designing Scalable AI Creative Systems** We're not looking for someone who manually perfects one beautiful image anyone can do that. We need people who can help build a system that delivers consistently excellent results across: * thousands of templates * millions of users * every age * every appearance * every body type * every culture * every photography condition You'll contribute to: * AI workflow design * creative instructions * prompt architecture * transformation logic * quality standards * edge-case analysis * evaluation frameworks **3\. Evaluating AI Results Through a Creative Lens** You'll help define what **high quality** really means by evaluating whether results preserve: * **Identity** does the person still feel authentic? * **Story** do they naturally belong in the scene? * **Emotion** does their expression and body language match the moment? * **Physical Reality** lighting, shadows, perspective, camera characteristics, skin texture, anatomy, natural imperfections * **Artistic Value** does this look like a real moment that actually happened? **Ideal Background (One or More)Photography & Visual Storytelling** Professional, commercial, or fashion photographers, photo editors, creative/art directors, cinematographers who understand composition, lighting, emotion, directing people, and visual communication. **Advertising, Fashion & Brand Creative** Experience with advertising campaigns, fashion or luxury brands, creative studios, or commercial productions. You know great images don't just look beautiful they communicate ideas. **VFX & Digital Production** Compositing, CGI, motion design, digital production pipelines. Especially valuable: experience maintaining visual quality across large-scale production. **AI Creative Technology** AI image generation/editing workflows, multimodal AI systems, diffusion models, ComfyUI workflows, advanced prompting, creative automation. **Note:** pure prompt-writing experience alone isn't enough we need people who understand visual intelligence. **What Makes Someone Exceptional Here** The strongest candidates think in multiple dimensions at once. * A photographer asks: _"Why does this image create emotion?"_ * A filmmaker asks: _"What story is happening in this moment?"_ * An art director asks: _"What should the audience feel?"_ * A technologist asks: _"How can we make this repeatable at scale?"_ **_The ideal person combines all four._** **Who This Role Isn't For** This isn't for someone who only creates attractive AI images or experiments with prompts, or who optimizes a single result manually.
