Senior Data Engineer (Azure)

### **The Role:** We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our fast-growing Network. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products. #### **What we're looking for:** * 5+ years in Data Engineering roles. * Advanced SQL knowledge: complex queries, performance tuning, stored procedures. * Strong understanding of Azure technologies: Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, etc. * Proven experience in ETL development, data integration, and pipeline orchestration. * Deep understanding of data modeling principles and data warehouse architectures. * Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and data security best practices. * Located in CET timezone (+/- 3 hours), we are unable to consider applications from candidates in other time zones. #### **Nice-to-have:** * Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, and Azure DevOps. * Expert in Power BI development, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service. * Experience with Python or other scripting languages for data processing. * Git or other version control systems for collaboration and CI/CD practices. * Microsoft certifications (Power BI, Azure Data Engineer, or SQL Server). #### **Responsibilities:** * Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, SQL, and other Azure services. * Implement complex data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns to support reporting. * Manage and optimize ETL workflows, ensuring data quality, consistency, and high performance. * Design and maintain data warehouses and dimensional models (e.g., star/snowflake schema). * Collaborate with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. * Integrate data from various sources, including SQL databases, cloud storage, APIs, and flat files. * Ensure data governance, accuracy, and integrity across the BI ecosystem. #### ** What we offer:** **Get paid, not played** No more unreliable clients.
