Senior Python Developer

Job Title --------- Senior Python Developer Job Description --------------- This is a remote Senior Python Developer role building and operating components of a SaaS risk and compliance AI platform, with work spanning data ingestion, storage, search, cloud deployment, modernization, and production support. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain Python services and data pipelines on Linux. * Ingest, normalize, and query large, messy datasets. * Implement and optimize data models in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. * Build and tune search functionality with Elasticsearch or comparable tools. * Deploy and operate AWS workloads across services including Lambda, ECS, EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, Route 53, and core networking. * Manage components end to end, including code, testing and validation, dependencies, and deployment strategies. * Help modernize the screening platform while maintaining production stability. Restrictions ------------ * **No telecommuting** * **No Agencies Please** Requirements ------------ Must: * Willing and able to work on a W-2 basis. * At least 5 years of industry experience. * Strong experience with Python and Linux. * Proven ability to ingest, store, and query messy, large-scale data. * Experience with PostgreSQL or another SQL relational database. * Familiarity with Elasticsearch or another NoSQL search engine. * Hands-on AWS experience with Lambda, ECS, EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, Route 53, and networking concepts. * Initiative in independent or self-managed projects; adaptable, self-motivated, and curious, with startup experience preferred. * Nice to have: experience with NER, NLP, modeling, machine learning, or agent frameworks such as LangGraph.
